OTHER GUYS

I really love seeing that french bladers wear cool jackets before and after competitions in the U.S.

But honestly.. speaking of teams killing the comp, I prefer browsing and watching what other guys are doing ..

BLADE OR DIE.

Well, skater of the year eat some Bambrick’s arms hair for a free tatoo… ‘nough said.

Yes, like the Bailey‘s one.

KEEP IT COOL.

Trinity skatepark closed.

This mean one indoor skatepark less.

What we gonna do this winter?

ITALIAN. YOU HATE TO LOVE IT.

This night my girlfriend had a friend request on facebook by her 70 years old grandmother.

The best bladers out there are spinning bottle of juice while filming for what is probably turning in the best video of 2011.

The world is evolving fast, but GUIDO, Guido is always the same.

FASHION ODISSEA: #2 ZIP HOODED.

Zip hooded will keep you warm in this autumn.

If you don’t want to look like a billboards with legs with the wrong message in the wrong place  like Bruce Willis in Die Hard you probably want to go for a sober plain color hooded.

American Apparel have them in like 20 colors for something near 50€

In the Blading industry only UCON (again) offer a choice.

Just Black and Aqua, but for the same price if you are a fan of this two color you can support yourself actually.

BLADER CULTURE: TRAVEL.

Travel is part of the American culture since day one.

Is freedom, is independence and is adventure, that’s why they can drive at 16.

American photography mostly start with landscapes and travel, from Ansel Adams and Walker Evans, going through THE AMERICANS of Robert Frank (CH) wich have an intro by Kerouac who writed “on the road” to the most contemporary Alec Soth.

Rollerblading is American and every blader dreams an epic tour, is part of our culture, since day one:

WHAT REALLY MATTERS.

Doesn’t matter if you are the gnarliest punk without God out there or the most boring tech skater ever.

Really.

Is not what you do but the way you do it:

You should have fun in the sun.

Style is everything said once J.Adams.

FASHION ODISSEA: #1 THE PLAIN T-SHIRT.

A plain t-shirt is ALWAYS GOOD.

You can dress it if you are slim or fat, with your leather jacket or basketball shorts and even with a mullet like Brandon Campbell do. (All this things in the same video part).

At H&M it cost 5 €.

In the blading industry it seems that only UCON have them and are a bit expensive.

You should have  three plain t-shirt in three different tone and support our industry at 49.99 €

Rebel without cause:

WE’LL BE HOM(M)E IN 20 YEARS.

Rollerblading is evolving and in this era, the post Farmer era, kids are looking for videopart to know the way they have to dress most that the way the sport is improving.

This mean two things:

1) we are going posers. (bad)

2) the blading economy is no more based on technical products only and probably we will start to look much better. (good)

BUT there is a gap between what trend setter dress and what rollerblading brands sells.

Actually while Farmer is dressing zebra-pattern shirts rollerblading brand are producing bi color t-shirts and while we are getting older and need moccasin to go to our every day job rollerblading shoes looks like Mesner goes ninja or Ray Charles hand made a nike dunk.

So let’s start a new section of the blog to find time to time what are the few things that are good in this FASHION ODISSEA.

72MM IS THE NEW 33CM.

I’m not a big fan of Rollebrlade, I’m honest.

They sold all of us a few times during the history of blading and cut their team too.

But now they have Rob G, Bruno Loewe and Matthias Ogger on some 72mm wheels.

Yes SEVENTY-TWO.

They made 4 good things in a row.

FOUR like the FOUR 72mm wheels that the Hansel of European rolleblading knows how to use in this electro summer flavor video:

WHERE’S MY PUNK AT?

I’ts really hot in Italy in this days and I find myself  to empty a bottle of water on my bed in the middle of the night to survive.

Too punk for my girlfriend.

You know Italian women are the best and I’m wondering to switch to an Italian punk woman to have the chance to keep my bed wet.

Searching for the right outfit for my new mission i find this Chrome Hearts collaboration with Mappelthorpe Foundation:

Now I wondering about how cool would be my black majestic 12 customized like that and how cool was when the Italian  skates brand put together the very first punk team in rollerblading and Mike Lilly showed up with this section:

try to play it together:

YOU KNOW THAT?

FLAT is an old thing.

It’s time to stick on RUBBER wheels right now.

Mr. Oizo know that.

Jeff Stockwell know that.

ECLETTISM

Ok.

Let’s enter the Danger zone speaking about skateboarding on a rollerblading blog.

Patrick Melcher, crazies outfits ever seen, wallies and stripes. Watch it.

FROM HIPPIES TO HIPSTERS

Ok folks, let’s cut the crap.

Summer is goin’ on and is going to be freaky hot out there. The man who invented sandals is a freakin’ genius and so does the man who finally decided to dedicate an entire site to Xsjado .

Everythingxsjado is the place to be, it’s like the Fillmore in the seventies.

Everythingxsjado offers you Farmer, Schwab, twitter, Wilson, Negrette,  even Billy O’neil… and of course you can follow Jeff Stocwell on tour .

One last thing:  do not wear socks with your sandals.

Please.

I’M BATMAN

Speaking of dark knights I can say that keeping something secret is something hard nowadays.

Everybody knows who the Batman is, but only Pietro Firrincieli knows where the secret parts are.

This is time for a Too Faded secret gem, Lee Martin. Enjoy.
