Ok, speaking of nominations in blading maybe it’s not so glittering and sparkling as in the movie industry, where Jim Carrey presents himself as a kicking ass hippy while receiving his trophy for the Truman Show at the Mtv Movie Awards.

Ok, maybe receiving an award in today blading scene doesn’ t mean you’re so blessed like Jim receiving his generation award too.

Ok… Jim Carrey is a genius and we all know it.

But now it’s  time to expand our awareness through the blading scene, here are the nominations for the industry awards:

Rookie of the year:
Julien Cudot, David Sizemore, and Mark Wodja

Video section of the year:
Alex Broskow-On Top, Chris Haffey- Drip Drop, and Mak Wodja- One

Team of 2008/2009:
4×4, Valo and Vibralux

Skater of the Year:
Alex Broskow, Chris Haffey, and Montre Livingston

Hall of Fame:
Dustin Latimer, Josh Petty, and Brian Shima

Recognition Award:
Julio, Kato, and Richie and Pam Velasquez.

The winners will be announced at the awards banquet at the AIL finals on
Saturday night October 24th. Hope to see you there.
